What's the tallest yet skinniest tire you've run on the street? ... & still cleared stock front height?

Thanks

Member 565bbchevy probably has an answer for you. Hopefully he'll chime in.

I used to have M/T 28" frontrunners when I was running bias ply tires these were on a 15" x 4" Convo Pro and the tires actually measured at 27.5" tall my rears at the time were 29.5" tall.
I need to run frontrunners since my huge exhaust has a primary tube that goes over the frame rail on each side.
This is an old picture of one of the set ups I ran.

Mainly look'n what has been shoe horned ~ puffed out on a 7"

565 was that a street rig, both or (re:wear)...... Seems 215 78's would give me 26"+ or so

Thanks

I am not sure why you would want to run the skinniest tire possible on a 7" rim but I would go by the manufactures recommendations for minimum rim required. I personally have never liked the look where a rim is wider than the section width of the tire that is on It, more so with a tall sidewall.

I'd find 15x6 rims for the front and go with a 205-75-15 or 205-70-15. That's the lower limit in 15" tires unless you go with an old veedub 185SR15.
