There is a new grassroots movement to take back the country from the idiots in the Democrat and Republican parties that have misused the public trust. One part of this is organizing "Tea Parties" on tax day to protest the gross mismanagement of public funds that is going on now due to the excesses of bailouts and printing currency, among other things. Here is the website for the tea parties:http://taxdayteaparty.com/. I am planning on attending one, is anyone else?

BTW, My political orientation is "Conservative Libertarian" now. I no longer call myself a Republican after all the socialism they brought upon our country.

I hear ya. I am getting disgusted with the Republican party and if I do not see some changes before the next election I will not be voting. The republicans of today are straying away from their party to cater and favor the democrats. It pisses me off to see they ae such cowards and can't stick to what they feel is right.

I am hard core conservative/Republican, tough for me to change, but at some point change is good. I didn't care for ron paul but we will see next election.

Well, I am still registered as a Republican as I feel that voting in the Republican primary is still my best chance to bring about change. However, I no longer feel bound to vote for Republicans if they fail to live up to the values I hold. If that is the case, I will vote third party in the general election. Don't ever just stay home on election day! Find someone you can vote for, even if they don't have a chance in hell of winning. Look at the third party candidates running in your area. Whatever you do, make sure your voice is heard. Voting is still the one thing you have that can make a difference.

No tea parties going on over here, but my tea bags will be in the mail to all of my elected representatives!!
