Took my 84 to Gainesville Raceway for a little Test n Tune earlier tonight. Got to make 2 passes before they booted me for not having a cage. First run was 11.0s and the second one 10.76 with a 1.45 60 foot ( cage is required for 11.50 or faster ). I kinda knew it was coming as they had warned me earlier in the year.
Anyway, if anybody caught Pinks All Out in Gainesville recently my car (White 84 G-body w/ stripes) is in one of the out takes making a pass against the guy that won 4th place in a silver and orange Chevy II Nova during time runs. You can also see me in the eliminations pitting for my buddy in the silver 85 Cutlass and again later pitting for the Chevy II mentioned earlier.
Both guys are customers @ the shop I work @ part time and we all had a great time on the show. BTW I'm the bald guy in the black t-shirt, sorta my 15 minutes of fame I guess. If you get a chance check it out....
