Getting ready to put everything back together and I realized the only thing that I forgot to buy was a filler tube/dipstick for the TH400. I don't want to use a Lokar or any of the flexible brands. I was looking at the one made by Hughes. The one for tight fit applications. I asked the question on YB and a guy from Hughes replied saying that one would fit. Anyone out there using one ? Or something better ?

Im sorry. I should have been more vehicle specific. This is a Chevy TH400 going into an 81 Malibu with a small block. I doubt the floor and firewall would be even close to a 65 or 72 Chevelle.

My understanding from what Ive read at Turbobuick is that a stock style tube will work for a G body swap with very minor tweeking if any to the tube. I was going to put a 383 and a th400 in a T Type I had that picked up after it was stolen and stripped of the drivetrain. But I ended up selling the whole project before I started the swap.
Considering I have not personally done this, hopefully another member here who has will chime in to confirm or correct this info.
