I made a couple posts in the Regal forum, as I bought a grey '85 with a mint body/interior. Unfortunately, the frame was rotten beyond repair. Not wanting to sell the car, I started hunting for a frame donor car when I stumbled across this 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham. The 350 is from a 1969 Chevy Camaro, 400 turbo transmission,323 gears in the rear, comp cam, comp lifters, double timing chain and gears, engine is all set up for a super charger, aluminum intake and a 750 holey carb. I'll let the pictures do the talking.. Unfortunately, the supercharger did not come with it, but it will be my next investment as its apparently still set up for one (low compression, etc)

And here she sits as of 10 minutes ago, in front of the unsuspecting Buick, wich is going to become a parts car for the Oldsmobile.

I do have one question; the old owner told me he uses Quaker State 20W50 oil in the car. That seems like a mighty thick oil to be using, but what do I know, I dont know much about supercharged motors.... Is that a decent weight to use on an engine built like this, or...?

nice, I saw that car on Kajiji, glad it found a good home.

20w50 is okay on a loose engine or hot summers. If you don't have low oil pressure issues you're probably fine with straight 30. It's up to you since they pretty much cost the same. If he said 20w50, he'd know better than me.
