Things have been great for me,my chemo treatments for breast cancer are looking good and the lump has shrunk good.Had my first chemo treat on January 2nd and and my second on Monday.Biggest supporter has been my husband and he has been there for me through this.He has reminded me to keep my head up high and said I am one tough wife.My family has been there for me including friends,our employees and customers.My kids have been doing well with this and know they will still have mom around.Doctor said surgery is next month getting rid of the lump.I am amazed how I am doing knowing I have a great support system.Mom even introduced me to this song by Martina McBride sending a great message, Martina McBride - I'm Gonna Love You Through It - YouTube

Its great to hear your prognosis sounds good and that you have an awesome support system around you. I have never had cancer but like most everyone it has been all around me. Father, mother, sister aunts and friends. Alot of your friends, coworkers and extended family are going to want to help. If i had any advise it would be to take it all. someone wants to shovel the drive let them, cook you a dinner take it, need a ride ask. Not only will it make them feel good but should make you feel great knowing they would do this out of shear love for you. Soak in that love Rest Recoup and Recover. Come out of the other end of this tunnel and ring that cancer free bell!!

Been getting dinners from my support system.Husband took me in for my first chemo treatment and a friend took me in for my second one.Doctor said everything looks good since it was caught early.It brought my daughter and I together with her great support,she was tested for the breast cancer gene and has it.25 years old and has decided to go through the Mastectomy and the breast reconstruction surgery which I am supportive of her having done.She does not want to go through it later in her life

Congratulations on the excellent attitude and forward thinking,that's always a good thing.like many have said before me you're surrounded by such good people that love you and are going to see you through this.I'm sure you're already counting your blessings from the out pouring of support around you but from the sound of it's only the beginning.

I feel lucky too it was caught early,been getting great advice from one employee of mine too.She was diagnosed with it at age 47 caught early and been cancer free for 10 years now 57 years old.Did find out my daughter has the gene and said she is doing the right thing deciding to have the mastectomy and reconstruction surgery done supporting her as well
