This is getting annoying..

So my headlights are out. All 4 of them. I still have turn signals and the marker lights in the front. All the connections seem good although I will double check them again...any other suggestions as to what it might be?

Does that have the rocker switch or the pull switch? Are you getting power out of the switch?

It's got the pull switch. Seems to have power because turning it left or right will still control the dome light.

It's possible for one circuit to go bad in the switch, remove the switch and see if there is any noticeable tracking or any burned terminals, look for blackened wires. If you see any of this, chances are that part of the switch is bad, test the switch witha test lamp to verify your findings.

I have had that same problem. Changed the switch and problem solved. The store I buy my parts from said it was common for older Monte's (not sure what you drive) HOWEVER, The switch has a relay in it and when something goes wrong within the lighting system it closes. It is supposed to reset when whatever was wrong is repaired. It is "apparently common" for the switch not to reset so my parts guy tells me...lol My lights came back on once I replaced the headlight switch but I ended up burning out the dimmer switch. So If you do replace it ($15-$20) be mindful to keep an eye and nose out for anything else for a little while.
