Surprise AZ.
This is a picture of my wife's mother in 1952 At the Phoenix Airport with her flight crew.
She is the woman on the left of the pic..
They had just flown the first TWA Lockheed Constellation Air liner into Phoenix .

How is this silly. This is awesome! I like seeing stuff like this
Sara just said I am silly for posting this.
I think its cool.
The Air Pima air museum in Tucson has a bunch of this TWA stuff.
I have tried to get her to donate all the TWA gear we have stored away.

tell her that she's silly for thinking it's silly! old stuff like that to us gearheads is as great as the wife finding a pair of shoes that perfectly matches her purse!

That is cool...Me being in aviaton myself....I enjoy pics like that. That was rare in those days to see women at that level...right on...

Very cool... History is never silly and when you can tie it to family it is that much better.

Great photograph! You'r wife's mom looked like a classy lady. I enjoy seeing historic photos like that. Of course TWA is no longer in business. The old Constellations were very cool.
Thanks for sharing.

NOT silly! My Dad worked for TWA too, and my earliest recollection of flying was on the good ol' "Connies". Probably one the best airplanes ever built. The new 707 jets were bigger and faster, but many were saddened by the Connie's passing.
