thm350/200r4 speedometer

i did thm350 to 200r4 swap and my speedometer cable can not be fit in 200r4 speedometer bullet thing ... in fact i can screw the cable on but it dosent work and it seems 200r4 has a little bigger hole there ...

Cyrus,
You should be able to use the same cable. There might be a problem with the bullet end. You said it didn't work? Check the end of the driven gear. It could have gotten chewed up where the inner cable fits in...or your speedo cable is bad.

i removed the governor cover (i am not sure if it 's governor cover yet) and i could see the speedometer gear and i could turn it by hand and i could see outer head of speedometer gear was turning well but i feel that outer piece what should get the cable in is alittle large and can not hold the cable thingy to spin it ... i mean that plastic shaft of speedometer gear from outer side of bullet is round and the cable what goes into the gear shaft has different shape ... but same cable was working on thm350 well
 
The inner cable should have a square end and the end of the driven gear should be square as well. Square peg in a square hole.
It sounds like the end of the plastic gear that receives the inner cable is worn.

yay that 's what i am talking about so i need to replace it and i wont find it here 😀 so i 'll fix it somehow to have a square hole there 😀
