Hello
I'm still not super familiar with carburetor stuff. I need a throttle bracket for the carb, but I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for. It still has the original throttle cable, as the car had a Quadrajet previously. Currently, it has a 600cfm Holley 4160, and a 700r4 with a TV cable.
What kind of bracket should I be looking for here? Is there something that's well-known?
I'm guessing that the universal Summit bracket will probably work, a Holley carb and 700R4 isn't exactly a special combination. But I'd still like to ask.

nice job guys.these guys posted the exact parts I was going to list.theres no room for error when it comes to these od transmissions and their cable geometry.steer clear of any universal anything.get the carb specific models and you're on the right track.

If using an 700 trans with a holley you will probably need one of these as well.
You are 100% correct with a Holley. If you were to ever switch to a Quick Fuel carb, the throttle linkage on the carb has 2 holes on the bottom. 1 for the 700 and 1 for the 200 tv cable. No need for the extra bracket. I’ve used quite a few different Quick Fuel carbs and they are usually pretty close right out of the box. They are my go to anymore. Just a little extra info.

As melloelky said, even the geometry is important- the cable has to be positioned just right or you can fry the 700 in 2 city blocks.

Perfect, thanks guys. This was exactly what I was looking for. I did a bunch more research and ordered a few things, so hopefully it works. I'm not 100% sure how I need to go about adjusting the TV cable, mine doesn't have adjustable end. But I'll look into it.
