throttle cable bracket for Edelbrock 1407 - 750 carb

i have a th350 transmission. the reason I'm inquiring about the bracket is it was brought to my attention that the return spring on the carb could get caught or interfere with the throttle returning (keeping open) and that i may have the wrong bracket I'm not sure if its the right one or not, or do i have the spring routed wrong. just trying to keep thing under hood looking neat clean
if anyone have any photo of your carb linkage spring setup i would appreciate it
I dont have a th350 trans so my setup is going to be different than yours. I had an edelbrock 800 cfm carburetor and I understand that it can get tight space wise under a air cleaner though. As long as the spring can close the butterflies on the carb you are good. I used the big hole with the spring going towards the radiator with a return bracket.
Car is in storage unfortunately, this is the best I can do until the end of April... a picture from last spring.
