I don't know what to think about that. Spendy as hell and not certified for any racing. Mite be nice for a guy that doesn't want to pay to weld one in or doesn't have skills or acess to welding equipment or a shop. If i ever need a roll bar or cage i'll just go with a weld in. But thats just me.

I don't really want a cage in my but im not raceing it. Its a good way to stiffin up a t-top car with out to much trouble. Big Block Olds motor + ford 9in + t-tops = flex. Just want to stiffin the car up

You'd be fine with adding all of the factory style braces that are available. Chances are your 455, like mine, can't get the traction on the street to really twist the car too much. Add all those braces and it cuts it down quite a bit. I'm still up in the air as to whether I'm going to put in a roll bar, but if I do, it'll be welded in and certified. While I can see the appeal of the bolt-in ease with that 'cage', that clamp together stuff looks like it's from Ikea.

Yes traction is a big problem for me but I have all the factory type braces and more. I don't want to be climbing over the bars to get in swing out are a joke. The Tiger Cage would be a good answer to that issue. the front and back of my car are stiff but i need i way to tie them together thats all im looking for really. It is stainless steel so that stuff is strong but heavy.

I guess i am still not convinced with the clamps, it's nice that it is a bolt in for those of us who don't really want to go all out i just wish it was welded together and not clamped

Bolt in is ok for a subframe car, not Gbody full frame, but the joints won't pass anyway.

Unless the NHRA rule book is rewritten, which I don't see them doing for one product, they will never pass tech for a sub 11.50 car.

The do have merit on a handling car,maybe they would pass SCCA type rules?

I don't know , I go straight. 😀

thats perfect for a street car! i want one of those thats pretty sharp looking!

the site for them says that they are not ment for strength or racing. They are for looks and handling on the street.

Quote from there site;
"The primary function of the TigerCage is chassis stiffening. Any safety protection is strictly coincidental."
