Tilt column woes

I have the typical loose tilt column. I fixed it but the two springs in the attached file fell out on disassembly and I don't know where they go. I believe the top one holds the signal arm in detent and the lower I think goes in the back side of the bowl piece under the cancelling cam, just not sure how. Thanks all

Bottom one is for the ign key reminder sw.
 
Try your turn signal lever. I think that is the one that latches the arm until the steering wheel pops it back to neutral.
 
I think you're right.. now just to figure out how it actually sits in there
Try to google "loose g body column". There is a guy on one of the el camino sites that posted step by step how to fix a loose column and has pics shown. I did my column but its been awhile and i don't remember that spring. Hope this helps!

Ya I readon't through that, unfortunately it doesn't show a shot of the signal lever that u see the spring
