I used Chevrolet performance heavy duty chain with stock gears. Not the cheapest. But I already got screwed over by rock auto because their description of chains was vague at best
Assuming you’re still using the single bolt cam, the factory timing set is fine, but if you want to degree your cam you might want to look at the LS3 billet set from Summit. Make sure to change the LS3 chain tensioner and replace it with the LS2 chain damper.
The factory LS3 spring type tensioner can fail and cause some serious problems.
