Tint or no Tint

I would go with a light smoked tint just to give the glass some color, around here tint on the driver's and passenger side windows is illegal unless it is factory but they only hassle people that put the dark limo style tint on.

I like 35% or 20% tint myself. All three of my Olds have had 35% and it looks nice.
I have 20% on my trucks side windows to match the factory tint on the rear window and side windows. I actually like it better than the 35% and plan to put it on my '87.

I just had my El Camino done it took the guy 2 hours to shrink the piece for the curved back glass. He finally got it and it looks great.

Tinting the rear side windows too dark makes it almost impossible to see through when backing out at night. My 79MC was like this when I bought it and I had to have them redone to a lighter tint.

Thanks, I was going lighter on the rear but i want it to be black like the paint
