Anyone have an idea on a good brand of tire of performance and daily driving? I have the bridgestone potenza 215/60R15 on my 80 malibu right now but I'm not sure what is a good tire anymore with all the brands out there.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. www.tirerack.com they have great reviews and I personally haveing owned both think they are a much better tire than the BFG radial TA. Many use 235/60/15s all the way around as a same height upgrade from the stock 215/65/15. They are raised white letter but you can also run the blackwalls out.

i like the bf goodrich g-force sport

and the g-force t/a drag radial 2

I like the g-force sport but it is a summer only tire instead of a all season plus the biggest size it comes in is 225/60/15 and its $96 per tire at tirerack whereas the firestone is about $20 a tire less. I would take the Nitto or the M&Hs or the Mickey Thompsons drag radials over the BFGs. Just my thoughts

I've had Kelly Charger's on a few of my cars and have been pleased with them. The only reason I didn't get them for my wagon a few months ago is because the local outfit had a better deal on BFG Radial T/A's, so I got those. Would've been cheaper if I went to TireRack, but I figured I'd give my profits to my pals at the old shop I used to work at instead.

Blake I agree better to buy local when possible. Tirerack isn't unbeatable just great info online.

I like my Coopers Cobra Radial G/Ts. They are a good price and ride good to. Thay are kind of the same as bfg radials I beleave.

cheap no name tire i had on my wagon called defender sport SR. handled good and rode awesome!

hankook, kumho and cooper all make good, cheap tires. if you want a performance tire, see how much general UHP's are. i have them on my DD and they're friggin great.
