Tire fitment suggestions

I've looked at other threads, and there are so many different combinations out there that people say will fit, but I was wondering what size tires you guys are able to fit under your g bodies without frame or body modifications? I currently have a set of 14x7 with 225/70/14. I wanted to go with something a little wider. Maybe a set of 15x8 rims with something like a 275/60/15 with 4" or 5" backspacing if that sounds like it should fit?

With an 8" rim you want 4" backspacing to keep them off the frame. 5" BS with an 8" rim will need spacers. 3.5" BS with an 8" rim generally rubs the fender lip. 275/50's (26" tall) or 275/60's (28" tall) should work in back with most G bodies.

Some rolling of the fender lip/trim might be required, but 4"BS will put the tire in the close to the ideal spot.
