Im going to pick up a set of Weld Autolite rims in a few. They have small front runners and the back are wider. The guy says the rear tires have ET drag tires on them.

Would I have to get new tires for them to run on the street?

I think the ET Drag tires are basically racing slicks, which are illegal for street use. To make certain, look for a DOT number on the side of the tire. There will be a number but it may not show DOT. It will also say if they are not intended for street use.
