hello peoples: Any of youz mess with yours. 245-50-16 tire 16 x 8 rim. I set mine at 35 and that's it, I was tinking of doppin the TP a bit to try and get more comfort. Sometime with the road in Mass. on the suck side it's like riding a buckbord.

I keep the same wheels/tires at 35 psig and enjoy the stiff ride with Billsteins and aftermarket swaybars - the dash rattles but I like ride. I think my rear window needs to be re-sealed too - I think it rattles too. I did bend one of these wheels in a nasty pothole back in early June - salvaged the tire, bought a new rim.

I would simply say anywhere between 30-34 usually fits the bill, adjust to your personal liking/ride quality as needed.

I will tell you that on higher performance type tires, like the Michelin Pilot Super Sport Run Flats (summer only) I have on my C7, those will be as low as 26-28 psi cold in the garage, but after about 30 min driving on typical warm spring/summer day they will increase up to 31-32 so there's that too.

So personally, I've always been pretty consistently setting my Cutlass tires to about 30 cold, and they'll creep up to about 32 warm which is right where I like them for my tastes. I did this on my old 15x7 wheels with 225F/245R / 60 BFG Radial TA's. and with my current 17x8 wheels with 245/45 as well and it's worked well for me both with the ride and treadwear.
