To run or not run rear sway bar. That is the ??? Some people say the car hooks better without it others say it dont make no difference. Any suggestions. Thanks Josh

I don't know about the possible performance aspect, nor would I care.
Most people drive their cars on the street and having it not lean like a madman is worth the effort of having one!

I can tell you that having a rear sway bar is a night and day difference. My malibu used to lean really bad in the turns, but with a rear sway bar out of monte carlo aerocoupe, it eliminated over half of the body roll I had going. Hooked better at the track and gave better handling characteristics.

When you launch without a rear sway bar, the front end actually launches crooked with one end high than the other. With the rear sway bar the front end launches evenly.

Stock rear sway bars will most likely only benefit lower powered cars. With what your planning on running, I don't think you will see much of a benefit from a stock bar. At least not by itself. A true ARB would would work or one of the thick aftermarket bars that don't bolt to the control arms would be the most beneficial.

No longer planning on running signature build it is running and is currently being driven. Just wanted to see what you guys and gals thought. I agree with you on not seeing much benefit of the stocker.

well i would never take off a sway bar especially if i drove it on a street. currently i have a 1-3/8" rear sway bar and a 1-7/16" front sway bar. pretty much the largest diameter bars i could find

No downside to running a rear sway bar. It can only help traction and handling. Assuming the rest of the suspension system is stockish.

Syspension is no longer stock. It has southside machine lift bars for lowers and SSM uppers. Drag springs and bags also drag shocks. Sway bar is currently on it was just debateing for track purpose if i should just ditch it.

I never put mine back in after i did the rear. I actually dont have much body roll but then again. I drive straight.

I would say with your suspension set up at the track youll be fine and its just added weight.
