Are torque converter's interchangeable? Or, do they only work with the transmission they came with? I have a 200-4R transmission, Th350 transmission, and a Th400 transmission, and the converter with them. Are any of these interchangeable. For instance will the 350 converter work with th 200-4R?

I don't think they are. I believe they all have different torque converters. I know with the 700r4 transmissions they changed the spline count in 85 so early 700s need different converters then later 700s

Thanks for the input. I figured the weren't, but I know there are others here that have more knowledge of this, than I.

The 350 and 400 turbos are interchangeable. Overdrive converters are not interchangeable with 3 speed autos but 200r4 and early 700r4 converters will swap if the spline count is 27 on both.
