traded red 2 dr for wagon

wagon

nice wagon, what year is it? what are your plans for the wagon? strip it down and race or street cruiser?

if you plan on stripping it lemme know i would like to get some interior peices since the red matches my wagon. 😀

I just wonder what kind of drugs they were on when they decided bright yellow works well with a red interior? And why do I hear Purple Haze in my head when looking at it? Other than that, a good starting point!

i want a wagon so bad! looks like a really solid starting point you have there

Its a 79. im going to put a 700r4 and a cheap 350 in it and a 7.5" rear with the internals of a s10 and try and get good milage and maybe go efi. After that ill start messing with the body. Im thinking black 17x8's and paint the yellow bumpers and trim black for now until i can find chrome replacements. maybe 2 15" naplam subs. Keep A/C. Make a comfortable crusier. Thats the plan, but everything i look at it with the bright paint and "Chevy Malibu" script it screams gasser/drag car. idk. I want them both fast but i want one for my DD and i think the wagon is great.

It would be a cool tow car/DD. You could even paint both the wagon and coupe the same and have a matched set.

The Mc Ds theme is hilarious! I like the matching car tow car idea. 8) I have seriously considered getting a hitch & dolly for my 442 and then use it to drag the GN to car shows etc. Figured it would get some looks. I am with ya on trying to get decent mileage out of my play cars as it affords more play time. I used the 200-4r with a lock up converter, Q-jet, vacume advance HEI distributor, & a reasonable cam to get 17mpg with my 509ci 442. Nothing like a mild dependable street car that runs hard and gets decent mileage.
