Trans break-in

Wow, I didn't know trannys needed to be broken in. But then again, I've never had a new or rebuilt one until now lol.
 
i just had mine rebuilt, they didnt really tell me to do anything special. They did say from completely dry add 4 quarts, run it, then another 4, then start checking the level. seemed to work fine. i just had a rebuild, B&M transpack and 2k stall as well.
 
My trans guy told me to get in and drive the car as normal but give it a month to let everything settle before you run it really hard..... then he did a 20' burnout infront of his shop with my car. My understanding is that 95% of the break-in is done within the first 5 miles.
