Just curious how anyone here routed their transmission cooling lines with headers. I have a 200-4r behind a Chevy 350 and running long tube headers. I know the lines are 5/16" with a 1/2" flare nuts. Pics would be appreciated.

I got a th350, not sure how different the lines are but I am in the process of going from the steel lines to AN lines.

I dont use the factory cooler. I bought an aftermarket cooler which I am using now. but upgraded to a B&M unit with AN lines.

Im running the lines up the frame rails

Are you going through the hole where the fuel line goes through?

i have a 402 and t350 and i used steel lines comin out the trans and up along the frame then up the fender well a little bit then beside my radiator to rubber lines going to the trans cooler infront of the radiator. i used to have rubber line above the headers but i wouldnt recomment that as they tend to get hot and leak.

you can use those insulated clamps on either regular or stainless lines just drill little holes along the frame and use a self tapper or something.
