My 82 el camino has a 5.3 lm7 out of a 2000 silverado. The bellhousing and clutch is matched up to a borg warner T50 which is toast. I want to upgrade/swap to the borg warner t56(a good one) or maybe a strong t5. The car will not be beat on brutally, and not often drag raced. My budget is 1000 dollars, and If I can I'd like to use my same clutch, hydraulic throwout bearing, and bellhousing.
Any advice is highly appreciated!
