i just instill a complete monte ss drive train in a monte LS.it was a 4.3 car.how do i adjust the kickdown cable?and where can i get a column shaft bushing for the trans shifting linkage?
Assuming you have the TBI 4.3 Keep the in tank electric fuel pump setup! I just added a Mallory 4309 return style fuel pressure regulator, an early 90s Camaro TBI in line fuel filter, and an aluminum return line all of which was cheap and easy. I put a fuel pressure gauge between the regulator and the carb so I could see the fuel pressure as I adjusted it with an Allen wrench at the regulator. It worked flawlessly for my carberated 509 powered 442.
You already have the tank, in tank pump & hanger. You will have a quiet safe setup like a new vette only using a return regulator & carberator instead of a fuel rail & injectors. If you want to replace the pump http://WWW.racetronix.com has a plug n play hi performance pump setup just click the Buick Grand National link under fuel pumps. It's an overlooked advantage of the gbodys vs an older 60/70s muscle car.
