Greetings all,
So the GP I bought has the vinyl Landau roof, which I despise, and I want to remove it. I may opt to do a t-top conversion later, but for now it's just getting turned into a hardtop. I can source all of the bits locally, except the rear filler panel. Are they all the same between our cars? Are there differences between years?
Mine is an 83 fwiw. And thanks in advance for any help.

Michal

I'm not sure about the GP but I'm using one from an '82 Cutlass in my Regal along with the 4 sided rear window trim.

Thanks, I suspect that they are, GM being GM and all. But I was hoping that a few folks had done this, GP filler panels are hard to come by, but I'm sure I can find a few of the others.

I am not sure about the GP but I know the Cutlass uses a bottom chrome piece making it a 4 piece molding set and I believe uses a different filler piece than the Regal and Monte which use a 3 piece molding set where the rear filler has built in notches for the side molding to continue below the filler piece.
Pictured is the Monte with the side molding extending past the filler piece.

Well....that just confused the hell outta me, LMAO.
There's a bone yard here that has an 87 GP T-top, the roof and driver quarter are toast along with the bottom corner of the filler, but the molding, 1/4 windows and trim are good. No idea how many pieces are involved there.
LAX...you have mail sir.
