trying to find out if 231 flywheel will fit 305

im swapping a 3.8l to a 305 while i build my 350. im wondering if the flywheel will fit or if i need to buy a new one thanks

No. Buick and Chevy don't interchange. You need one for a 305.

like 5 bucks each or less

this will be easyyyyy

the only thing to worry abotu is if it is 86 up or 85 older

this is when the crank changed pattern and shape, and from 2 piece RMS to one piece

85 older same pattern:

3.8L/229 chevy

200 v-6 chevy

4.3L chevy engines

straight six 230 250 and 292

1960s years gmc v-6 truck engines


all sbc and bbc except 454 and 400 in which were externally balanced
