i am new to the gbody world.. just got this solid 78 camino from my boss for 600 bucks.. runs and drives great.350/auto.. for some reason... everything i own must be all black and lowered... so im wondering what size of tire i can tuck in the front and rear..i dont need the biggest tire i can fit...just what i can comfortably fit..i would like to go as low as i can with the car without modifying anything other than the springs... and another question is..were the caminos badged if they were a ss in 78.. if not how do i decode this car and where is the code for it? i apperciate any help..

I would say go with at most a 15. Anything bigger you will need to get your wheel wells to get made bigger in the bed and in the engine bay.
16" wheels up front with 17"s in the rear
22" Wheels with air bags with stock wheel wells
22" Wheels with air bags with stock wheel wells
I have 16x8 245's in the front and 17x9.5 275's in the rear I have it lowered 3 in the front and 1 in the rear. I'm hoping to lower the rear even more one of these days.
