i have a turbo 350 behind a 455 that wont move the car in drive or 2 but if you go from low 1 and go through the gears it works fine vacum line to the modulator is good reverse workd also now if you have the rear tires off the ground it works good in all the gears its just when it has a load on it it has a 3000 stall and a super high highway gear any input would be appreciated just dont wan to pull it unless i absolutely have to

I'm no expert. But my guess it that stall along with the highway gears overheated the transmission.

From what I know the stall will need to be replaced too. But in my opinion I would just use a stocker untill you get better gears. I've never heard of many street stalls lasting very long. Especially with highway gears. I have 3.73s and I don't even think I wanna run a stall with them yet.

When your RPMs are lower than the stall speed (which yours must be about 90% of the time lol) your transmission is making MAJOR heat.

What are you running for a motor that you have a 3000 stall? Unless you have something that doesn't start building power untill about 3000 RPM (like 2500-7500 RPM range) that stall will probably be slowing you down anyway.

As a stop gap, you can thicken the fluid to reduce stall.

Try 2 bottles of lucas or some John Deere Hy-gard.
