ever since my first old car, I've loved cruising down a long stretch on a cool night. And occationally, I've gotten the itch to run a car light to light... beating a guy with his hot girlfriend with him, or running with a cute girl, really gives me an adrenaline rush!
But living up here in Ottawa (the capital), laws are strict and rarely catch anyone wanting to run light to light... just the occational 17yr old in his mom's honda.
don't get my wrong, I'm a very tame driver... but it's nice to let the car loose every now and then... why else would I own a car like this?
Today, hanging out with a buddy, cruising down the long road near my place, we pull up to a light. Two GORGEOUS girls :wink: in a convertible Audi at the light beside us.
... before I go any further... this results in a "Good News/Bad News" situation...
Good news first:
so we're at the lights, and I rev my engine to get their attention. They look over and I give em a wink :wink:. I say, "nice car, you ladies wanna race?"
She chuckles and says "are you serious?".
"Yeah! let's go for it!"
She giggles again and replies, "he he, okay, I'll give you a head start"
Light goes green, I stomp on the gas, get a nice spin in 1st, power shift into 2nd, 3rd, car's really screaming! 8) ...
... then I see this Audi BLAST by!
... I didn't even have a chance! 😳
Now the bad news:
..... I was in my dad's 5spd 89 Nissan Sentra
the ONE nice night I'm out cruising, and run into two of the hotest girls, and I'm driving a f-ing SUNNY!
... the moral of the story...
Always drive your awesome car! 8)
... coulda gotten their number!
