guys, frame off going well(I'll post a thread later). I have the body on rotisserie and cleaning old rustproofing off and will hit surface rust areas with wire wheel. This car is going to be a driver so how would you paint/protect it? I'm thinking get area clean, scuff new floor pan and other parts, brush on POR 15, then spray it with Eastwood rubber undercoating-done... I could also first rattle can Eastwood 2k epoxy, then rubber undercoating? Thoughts? Car won't see anymore snow/salt, just rain and road debri. Thanks

When I did my 81 Malibu I sprayed the bottom of the car with 3M Body Schutz. Ive used that stuff on many projects over the years and it always held up well. Just did the bottom of my 83 wagon with it last summer.
Now I found a different option. U pol bed liner. I know a guy that has a body shop. A month ago I stopped by to check out a truck hes redoing. He sprayed the whole underbody with the bed liner and also the floor and inner fenders. Im sold. If I could take the time to strip the Schutz off and spray it with the bed liner, it would be done. It looks GREAT !
Next time !

Thanks. So do you prime with a self etch then apply this or does it go directly on? As long as I'm this far, just want to make sure as possible this thing is nearly water tight so I'll never have to screw with it again, lol.

Both of my cars already had old dealer applied undercoating on them. I sprayed them with Schutz to even everything out and give them a clean fresh look. As far as a stripped metal floor, I would use a self etching primer like variprime or any of the DP primers from PPG.

FYI, you'll have to get a spray gun for whatever product you use. The gun for the U pol bed liner is the same as the other guns out there except the tube that goes in the can is longer. These arent expensive. Also, the higher the air pressure the nicer the texture will come out.
