I have a 1981 El Camino. I just picked up a dash from a 1987 Pontiac grand Prix. I plan on swapping them over. The El Camino has gauges and the grand Prix has idiot lights. I have all the wiring for the grand Prix dash from the fuse box. Trouble is the fuse box on the El Camino doesn't match up with the grand Prix. Not the same position for the wiring to hook up. also the El Camino seems to have more wiring going over to the passenger side both cars had power windows. Has anyone run into this before. Should I just use the El Camino wiring in the grand Prix and just splice where I need to?
Thanks
