I've noticed that too, when parked next to my buddy's Cobalt, the Cobalt towers over the Cutlass. I believe modern cars have restrictions on the height of the beltline being too low, some new "pedestrian safety" crap or so I hear. It just makes cars longer, taller, wider, and exponentially disproportionate. It makes the car look like it weighs 5 tons, Challengers, Chargers, and Camaros are especially guilty of these crazy new designs
