After 20 odd years my upper clutch rod is shot so I was surprised to see they are going for over $60 now! And not many available even at that price. While searching I came upon this and the price is comparable to the stock piece. It is offered by Speeddirect.com and I am impressed. What do you guys think? http://cmc.speeddirect.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=7130-125&eq=&Tp=

They look nice. The only problem I can see is that my ends are male & go into the clutch pedal & Z bar. Those ends are Female & would require some kind of bolt or something to keep them on. Maybe I'm just missing something? ~ Jon

The bag of nuts bolts and washers I guess are used for that purpose. I would probably upgrade to nylock nuts as well.

Great! That's what I wanted to hear. Good quality made in US will get my business every time. Are the hardware grade 8 or what?

I installed this kit on my car a few years ago and it works great. I decided to make my own for my Nova. The Nova just uses straight pieces of tube. My total cost was less than 15 bucks for the joints and stuff.

No, grade 5. No marks at all are grade 2, then 3 means grade 5 and 6 means grade 8. I guess grade 5 is good enough but I would have thought they would use grade 8's but I'm not an engineer so maybe they weren't necessary. Thank's for checking, I am getting that kit for sure.
