upper door panel opinion question

Last g body I recovered I left the door straps off looked clean!!

Recovered for the new car should I leave the straps off?

My 78 did not have them , So I don't miss them, But its all up to your personal taste.
I just recovered mine with the same leather that is on the seats.

^^^^^^^^^dam that looks good...on my monte I moved the window switch to the lower panel, there was nothing on the upper except the manual door locks.

I have all the hardware I suppose I could always put them in later.

Thats nice... I was thinking bout ordering my panels from dixie monte carlo. But they want an arm nd a leg for everything
