One of my upper rear plastic trim panels has a broken tab where it is held down by the metal trim. I ordered a pair of used trim from Gbody.com and painted the one that needs replacement. Sad to say the original is in better shape than the repaint, plastic is starting to deteriorate. Here is my question I am thinking about taking the tab from one of the replacement panels and attaching it to my original. Could use the opposing side and if it don't work out then still have the repainted one to install.

Has any one done this repair and what product would you use to "weld" the tab to the panel. I have used a product called "Plas-t-Pair" in the past to repair broken TV cabinets with some success. But it's so fluid when applying it some times damages the finishes surface. Any thought on another product to use for this application???

not sure exactly what piece you're referring to - interior? the big plastic panel by the side window?

I placed photos now it's the panel over the rear side window the tab that's broke hooks under the rear window top metal trim that runs across the top of the window.

Try some gorilla glue just make sure both pieces are slightly damp to help with the adhesion. Wish I had know you were looking for those panels I have a very nice pair in grey.
