I am trying to install a thicker front sway bar. I had it installed both ways. The first way it was hitting the outside of the control arms. It just did not seem right. The opposite way made my front end go up a little and is super stiff with minor up and down movement. Can someone post pictures of the correct installation of a upgraded front sway bar please. Its an Addco bar if it matters. Its a monster 1 3/8 tubular bar.

Re: Upside down front sway bar??

The page does not work. I just talked to tech support and he told me how it should go. LOl the first way I had it which rubs the control arms! Any pics of your setup would help thanks

This way rubs the control arms. This is the way the tech at addco said it goes on. Maybe I could cut the end links to lower it.

This way makes the car really stiff and actually raised the front end a bit. Im confused. This way does not hit any other parts frame etc

AHH wait a sec. When I did the first install I had the front of the car on ramps. I think if I jack it up and let the suspension hang the sway bar will be just below the spot it is hitting. I will try to install like it is in the first pic with the car on jack stands. Does this sound correct or am I wrong?
