and I have bought 255/50/16 for the rears, and am contemplating what would look best for the front.

255/50/16 are 26.02" tall, with 5.01" sidewall...

Looking at 225/60/15 for front---
225/60/15 are 25.62" tall, with 5.31 sidewall

Anyone used this staggered set on their G-body.......I used SEARCH and didn't see anything.....

I want the front to be a little bit smaller than the rear, and not have too big of a sidewall......I think 225/60/15 would do the job....I think 235/60/15 would be too big in relation to the rears (26.1" tall, 5.55" sidewall)...

Ideas?

(the 16x8 have a 6.5" backspace, and I have 2" spacers...).....I think they were from a Vette, but not sure.

Id say go with the 225/60, 215/60 or if you can find them 235/55.

I have looked for the 235/55/15 and if you can get them, the price is outrageous, and they are usually a race compound (what I have seen anyway).
Wish they made a 245/50/15....that wasn't a slick, and $225 dollars......haven't found those either, so I will probably end up with the 225/60/15's.........

Thank s for your input.

Posted a couple of times since I got these mounted, and even since I have put new springs, and spacers (rear was still lower than front, even with new rear springs).......but every time I pull in the driveway, in another car, I see this stance, and just couldn't think of it being any better.........

That's a nice looking wagon, I have one just like it 😛

Are you sure those are new springs in the rear? I took the gas tank out today for another reason and it's got spacers above the coil springs. The weird part is that at least 2-3 coils of the springs on each side are laying right against each other. The wagon runs excellent after we rebuilt the carb and tuned it up, but it rides weird, so new springs may be in the future. I was glad to see that it has an actual TH350C instead of the metric 200 trans. Replaced 1 broken motor mount and a broken trans mount also.

Here's when we drug it out of the guy's yard after it sat for 2 years, and now.

Nevermind, I finally educated myself on cargo coils, so now I know what those are...lol. I did take the spacers back out though. I'm curious if the front coils have been cut though. They are super stiff and somebody has been in there already. There's ONE new shock and new sway bar endlinks.

Yep, been a few years since I've thought about it, and sold it to the dude outside Atlanta. IIRC I did put the spacers and variable rate rear springs in , and cut the front springs. Don't remember anythng about the shocks or end links, though. Slept snce then. Good to know the car isn't sitting anymore like it was. guy I sokd it to had big aspirations for it. Guess life fot in the way.
