Can I hook my modulater to my vacuum advance

Do you mean the transmission modulator? And the vacuum advance on your distributor? No they both need to connect to a vacuum source on your carburetor. I have my modulator hooked up to the vacuum port on the bottom left side of the carb and my vacuum advance is connected to the bottom right side of the carb. Hope this helps you!
