Question has anyone had a problem doing a Vin check on there Malibu cause I've tried 2 different sites and they ask for a minimum of 17 letters and numbers my Vin is only 13 letters and numbers.

No i know all that stuff just the history of the car like how many owners and if it was in a accident etc.
When I was buying my car, I looked at a couple different sites and ultimately used VINaudit.com -- it gave me a report that showed:
- A Title Records section, showing when the title had been registered as changing hands (just date & state, no names)
- A Junk / Salvage / Insurance Records section, I guess to show when relevant records had been made against the VIN (mine had nothing)
- A Problem Checks section, listing various possibilities that could have been reported against the VIN, shown as answers to questions (Record of flood damage? No problems found!
Record of fire damage? No problems found!)
