Not really any advice but mine is filled with vr1 synthetic (Its Blue)

I use it for all my flat tappet cam engines and have since our government took the zinc etc out of our regular oils. Which as you know our flat tappet cam engines were designed to be run on / lubricated by. Its the easiest most cost effective good solution. Valvoline was ahead of the curve or government when it got this oil marketed & established as a "racing oil" which exempted it from the government mandate. No reason to not run this and no bang for the buck in the Brad Penn oil unless you got a high dollar race motor. 10/30 or 20/50 for a well broke in engine.

I use 20/50 wt VR-1 in my 4-cyl Porsche engine. I think it's fine. Brad Penn is also good oil, a bit pricey though. It's actually the old green Kendall GT-1 formula. I used to run that oil in everything.

Napa in Oneida sells 10w40 VR1, I like it much better than the 20w50, I run it in all my vehicles (since they're all flat tappets, lol). So far so good, been using it for quite a few years now.

I run the VR-1 20W50 in my 455. Seems just fine however running a roller cam I'm not really concerned about the zinc levels. I just wanted a good oil that I could buy anywhere and it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

I also sometimes use 20W50 VR1. Pretty cheap for when I know I'm gonna change the oil soon and is good for a flat tappet street engine. Buddy of mine gets brad penn by the case for cheap from a local engine shop so I usually use that though.

Thanks For Your Input Guys, Ill Be Getting 5 qts Of VR-1 This Weekend And Changing The Oil In The El Camino. Then Start Giving Hell To The Motor!
