ok wassup everybody i just recently joined another monte carlo forum and i figured id dip my fingers in a few to gather all the knowledge i can... my names george and im a mechanic and i just got my first g body... 86 monte carlo ls 5.0 and i wanted to introduce myself... i live on the east coast us and all that good stuff.... now i already have 1 question... i was on the other forum asking about body parts and ect because i was looking for an ss nose and tail not to make a clone but because they just look better than the ls lol but regardless i have one quick question, i just picked up a pair of 15x10 centerlines for the rear and was wondering if anyone knew if 15x10 would fit in the stock rear well without tubbing out or any fram cutting... i was comparing diameters from 14 inch rims with 19575r14s to what would be 27560r15 and i know i clear on the sides because i only need about 1.2 inches on all sides but the width is what scares me... i read somewhere that people have done it and its def gonna be close but i was wondering if anyone had any definitive proof of it fitting before i order tires next week... thanks if anyone has any info ^^

depending on the back spacing they well stick out.i had to notch my frame so i could tuck a 10 inch rim on my car.and you could get a newer ls euro style front end instead of the ss front end.

im not worried about them sticking out i just dont want any rubbing uno especially if i buy the tires to fit the rims and end up not being able to use them or have to make them fit or have to try to get the company to refund them and make it look like i never mounted them because theres generally a little physical damage to the bead once you mount a tire

i have a complete 87 ss front fascia in great cond if youre interested in trading for your front end and side bottom chrome? pm me if interested.

umm yeah actually i would be interested could you pm me some pictures and will that bolt up, do you have the mounting brackets and the fender extensions and the headlight buckets

oh and i would like to do a manual swap when i get a motor swap in there ( i have a 400 block that im gonna try and get in there at some point ) so if anyone ever hears anything about a manual steering column that would fit feel free to let me know because im having 0 luck looking on the web or if you know of a custom shop that might deal with something of that sort

Welcome to Gbodyforum bro. By the way, this site is better than the "other" forums 😉
