I watched my oldest son graduate from high school yesterday.I had tears of joy watching it happen and did my job right raising him for 18 years. My husband did comfort me saying we did a great job raising him.It was all fun after, did get pictures taken with his good friends. His friends know me as the Irish mom very well.Talked to his teachers he had and said he straightened out good too. One person was there too,the Marines recruiter he has seen and said things look good with him.Told him the good news too,was accepted in which he enlisted in March. So far he is excited and leaves for boot camp in August.Good thing is he is ready for this part of his adult life.Even thanked the teachers he had and all told him good luck in boot camp

Congratulations. For leading your son to the point where can make his own decisions. And for hanging tough yourself to see him here today. Carry on.

He made the right decision and has read so many positive outcomes people after enlisting in the military.I know it will lead him in the right direction in life,he always looked up to famous Marine R Lee Ermey. He has this taped on one bedroom wall and an employee of ours whom is a Marine veteran gave him this to remind what he decided to do,
