I was a bit surprised also, but i figured around 3200 without me, It has to be because it has no power windows & its not a brougham.

I don't think it's because of no power windows, all the pw compents aren't really heavy maybe everything piled together around 40 to 50 lbs. But taking off the A/C and all that is probably atleast 100lbs.

how's this for new cars... 2012 Corvette ZR1 with an all aluminum frame, carbon fiber body panels, aluminum engine, weighs in at 3,405 lbs.

and if you look at the new pony cars, the Mustang being the smallest between the Camaro and Challenger, also weighs in at 3,400 lbs for a v8 coupe. The Challengers and Camaros are tipping the scales at 4,200lbs...

cars have never been heavier

you can look at the challenger/chargers and tell they just look heavy plus they have more options than you would believe

A new Prius has a curb weight of 3,042lbs. New cars are not that lite.
