so i got a wagon finally. its a chevy. 305. quadrajet 740. 350 TH trans. runs great. only catch is its not a g-body. its a caprice. now before anyone turns away, i have a 396 waiting for it. let me hear some opinions...

what year?

personally i wouldnt waste money suping up a caprice wagon, unless it an old school one, like 60's. I love big *ss 80s wagons like that, i have an 87 mercury colony park wagon, but to me theyre just big *ss old tanks to have fun in, but thats just me.

I'd say go for it.......make it a sleeper grocery getter 🙂

Oh yeah, Put some pics up of the wagon 😀

its a 88. silver with matching interior. ill get pix up as soon as i can. my cutlass is down at the moment so ill be driving this thing. i grew up around 80's gm vehicles. i trust this more than anything else in the world. i still have a 86 brougham from when i was 16. i stand by these cars with head held high. but i was thinking...put the 396 in the cutlass instead? :?

haha... i figured id get that response. all i know is i have a big block which deserves to be dropped into something. it saddens my heart to see it sit. but i will have to wait for awhile. my son is due the 29th of next month. soo ill be drivin the wagon...for safety of course

nothin better than sittin on the tailgate of a chevy in the shade on a hot day....until the bud light shows up haha

one of my dream cars is a 90's caprice wagon with the rear doors welded shut and all the side windows (except the front) filled in, to make a modern sedan delivery.
