So today i went to the scrap yard with my friends to kill some time  as i was looking for some Monte Carlo's to see if i could snag some parts off, i saw this beauty up on the hill. From the back i could tell it was a cutlass, My first thought was that it was gonna be all stripped and rusted out. But as i came to the top and saw this beauty i was astonished why this was in here. Its a 4 door Cutlass Salon i think? The whole interior was still there and intact, dash only had a few cracks and radio was missing but other than that it was pretty clean! Popped the hood and found the 3.8 Litre v6, but everything was there! Only thing missing was the battery, even the washer fluid jug was still full. Then i thought ok the frame rails have to be rotted out. Plopped onto the wet ground look at both and they were still mint!! The wheels and rims on the car are still in near perfect condition as well! The owners manual was still on the seat and i looked at it. It was a manual for a 1986 cutlass, 442,or Salon. The car used to be blue from what i can tell, but it was now painted black. The door placards were gone but the vin was still there. Im Eager to call them tommorow and see if they will sell it for a good price. Even the trunk was solid! A bit of rust but not as much as even my other monte had 😛 Anyways though it would be awesome to share this with you guys, maybe someone could give the correct model on this?

They'll still do it out here too. I'm trying to work out a deal with a wrecker here for a nice 81 Malibu 4dr and an 80 El Camino.

a neighbor up the street from me has a 79 malibu 4 door that he found in a barn the next county over. Some rust in the passenger quarter but in really good shape. Factory 305 car with a metric trans.
