What grit for refinishing cylinder bores?

I called my local shop, and they said 320 is what they use when standard iron rings are to be used. What say you all? Picture is of the bores in my new Buick 350. Pretty good imo, but in need of a touch up.

You can see the cross hatching, but it's smooth to the touch. It's a virgin block with what I was told was 70,000 or less miles. The rest of the engine leads me to believe this is true.
