what u guys think ?

post some pics if you guys have some

Thanks

First of all wide wheels with a deep dish are the sickest looking wheels you can get, IMO.

Second, the wheels on that GNX in that thread you posted do not actually fit, because he had to jack the car up to get it to work:

That's not exactly a proper fit.

A proper fit, at ride height, without modifications -- this is what you are askin?

I can't answer you specifically because my experience is only with GPs (similar but there may be differences).
I have fit 15 x 10 wheels on the back with 295/50/15 tires, with no modifications but the tires do hit the wheel well when you hit a bump -- this I fixed by rolling the lip in, using a rolling tool (designed just for this purpose).
My current application -- I got the same rims & tires -- but I have widenned my fender lips and it fits nicely with no rubbing anywhere.

can u post ur deep dish buddy?

Here is the 15x10s on a stock GP. This one had wheel fender trim. I had to remove the metal fender trim and roll the lip using a fender roller in order for the tires not to rub whenever I hit a bump:

Same wheels, current car, but with custom work done to the fender to make them wider:

Just wondring do i have to cut the trim on my elco, i do have factory air ride?

Elco guys should know this, if they played with big rims/tires. Not too many have.

By the way the backspacing on those rims were -3.5" (negative 3.5 inches).

What you should do is grab a ruler, take a wheel off, and measure the distance from hub surface to wheel lip, and hub surface to frame rail.

Add them, that's your maximum wheel width.
Your second measurement will determine your wheel offset.

Anways, to be exact, here is a page you should bookmark. Going by these rules and you can figure out what kind of rims you can install without any rubbing. https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

Keep in mind, when the wheel travels upwards (when you hit a bump in the road) it does travel inwards a little, because it moves in a circular motion. So as long as your tire edge is not protruding from the wheel well surface (a couple millimeters is ok) there will be no rubbing.

Hope that helps bro. 😉

thanks for all the info, i need the deepest without sticking out soo i have to do some measurement

Depends on the backspacing, but Joe Dirt got 10in wheels on the back of his "Hemi" with the foot-print gas pedal. But he slept with his sister, so there you go. Please only put a wide rim on to handle a tire for needed traction. In other words, if you put a 275mm tire on your car, please have 500hp, gearing, and converter to match.

Lmfao that's very funny breeaad.

But in bawazir's defence, he specifically asked for deepest "dish" wheel (which is really a cosmetic detail) which of course goes with wide tires. Hey, deep dish on g-bodies do look killer, and I think g-bodies are hard to make "ricer". Joe Dirt's "hemi" after all, was in a dodge neon. 😛
