What size resistor is being used in a si to cs conversion? And how to measure the ohms in the brown wire?

I believe the adapter alternator connectors come with resistor and without resistors... It just all depends if u need it or not... I got my CS130 the other day and picked up my EC82 alt connector with resistor at napa for $19.99 only becuase i dont have the idiot light n e more, so i need that extra 35ohms of resistor so that i wont blow my volts in alt...hole this helps..

Painless calls for an 82 ohm, 5 watt resistor inline with your brown charge wire. This is what they provide in their si to cs adapter plug.
I added my own resistor...I forgot how many ohm resistor I used. It wasn't what i indicated above.
Radio Shack is a pretty good source.
